In Honour of the Fallen – 12th June 1996
On the tragic night of 12th June 1996, two Black Hawk helicopters collided near Townsville during a training exercise. The incident claimed the lives of 15 SAS soldiers and 3 members of the 5th Aviation Regiment. As we approach the 30th anniversary in 2026, this pin stands as a timeless symbol of remembrance and respect.
This special edition pin features a vintage brass finish, accented with a bright red enamel poppy and a subtle red splash across the Black Hawk fuselage — symbolising both sacrifice and service.
